What is Course Reserves?

Answer

Course Reserves, or "Reserves", is a curated collection maintained by the library that is comprised of textbooks and other materials used in WSU courses.

Course reserve materials are materials that have been requested, generally, by a specific course instructor to be made exclusively available to only the students in that particular course. Access to these materials is maintained by the Library's course reserve system and staff.

Access to course reserve materials can be restricted to in-house use only and can only be checked out for short periods of time to ensure availability to all users who require access to the material(s).

To checkout course reserve materials, one must request the materials directly from the User Services desk at the Main or Davis campus library as this is a closed collection.
